Many of our nation’s activists have become and are becoming our new law makers and tenured professors in major universities across this nation. They stand in opposition to God. They have swallowed Satan’s lie that they are gods, knowing good and evil, Gen.3:5.
Many of them are from other nations and non-biblical cultures. Jesus Christ and who he is means little if anything to them. His presence and mission for believers is silly to them. They are not called foreigners for nothing. Many are foreigners to our core spiritual beliefs. Gen.35:2 Jacob told his people to “put away the foreign gods that are among you,”. Of the Ten Commandments God said in Ex.20:3 “Thou shalt have no other gods beside me.” Ex.23:33 “They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me; for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.”
We spoke last week concerning sin nature trends, lasciviousness and self-righteousness.
What our youth need before they give into their sinful trends is God’s answers. They need Christ and they need to be in a good Bible instructing local church under the teaching ministry of a Christ-called commissioned pastor-teacher.
Let me say first of all to the adults; Satan wants our youth. They are the means by which he plans to accomplish his goal of stopping the spread of the gospel. He was successful in the 60’s by turning a large population of youth into pot smoking, free love maniacs and spaced out radicals. Anti-establishment organizations were the fad; down with all forms of authority including marriage, the home and our form of government. Anger was confused with passion and what was once good had become bad and now what the Bible says is bad has now become good, Isa.5:20. Civil disobedience was legitimized and evil was rewarded with a microphone and a camera. Today evil men and women expect to make millions on airing out their sins to the world. Evil is rewarded with financial gain and our youth see this. They need God’s answers and they need them now, Deut.6:5-6; Eph.6:4.
They need to get God’s solutions in the home from their elders and these elders may be their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and so on. . These elders need to be in good Bible teaching local churches where they can learn God’s word. Entertainment oriented churches are not getting God’s solutions out and many are incorporating the world’s answers to our problems through their liberation theology of social justice. Divine justice is being ignored as to why things aren’t going well.
As I said, Satan is still after our youth and he needs them to plot against the plan of God. He needs them to plot against free will so we will have a government that makes our decisions for us taking away what little incentive we have to do for ourselves. He needs them to plot against marriage so what little stability we have in society will turn into chaos. He needs them to plot against raising a stable family, so bring up children in broken dysfunctional homes or kill the unborn and chalk it up to progress. He needs them to plot against national patriotism so turn to the world courts and organizations such as the United Nations to control our foreign policy and our military and let the U.N. resolve our differences. Satan needs our young people to be influenced by the doctrines of humanism and socialism so Christianity will be completely driven out of our minds and our land.
If we want to help our youth then we need to give them God’s answers to why so many bad things are happening. We need to give them God’s solutions to these problems. And then we need to let God work in their lives to address these problems. They need God’s answers to why the world is suffering so much. The world will give them man’s answers, and the answers will not be the same as God’s answers.
The First People
First of all, God did not make Adam and Eve to live in poverty and sickness. He did not make them to fight and argue. He gave them the tree of life which fed them with fruit that would have kept them alive forever. However, Satan entered the garden where Adam and Eve lived and he tempted them to disobey God (original sin)and they did. Adam and Eve then became spiritually blind and they could not understand what had happened to their happy home and their perfect earth/world. Shame and suffering came upon them. Fear and anger came upon them and this has passed down throughout the entire human race, Rom.5:12. Each generation since the time of Adam has learned new sins and evil techniques to inflict mental, emotional and physical harm upon themselves and others. This harm happens on a personal level, a local level, a national level and on an international level, even on a galactic level if you count Satanic powers and rulers.
If you are taught in society and in the classroom that we have all evolved and there is no God who created mankind or the world; that there is no such thing as sin; that we are simply products of our environment; if you believe this it is easy to understand the world’s answers for solving crime and poverty at the personal, local, national, or international level. When the Lord’s purpose for our existence is dismissed and forsaken we become as depraved and desperate as any people on the face of the earth and we become subject to the same atrocities and animalistic behavior as they do. We also stand to be judged as they are being judged.
If you deny that God is our creator and mankind is sinful by nature then you have the world’s understanding as to why some nations and continents are so far behind other nations in the fields of healthcare, welfare, education, prosperity, national security and personal freedom. If you take the world approach to understanding and solving the problems of the world then it is easy to understand why you should take from prosperous individuals, prosperous localities, prosperous nations and use their goods to lift up those individuals and nations that lag behind. If you take this approach then it is easy to understand why it is your moral duty to share in the suffering of those peoples, but if you take a biblical view then you will not think like the world thinks about these things.
The challenges you face as young adults is that you are going to be called on more than ever to be a part of solving the world’s problems. The question, however, is whose solutions will you integrate into solving these problems; mankind’s solutions or Gods’.
You can be God’s voice, or you can chime in with the rest of the world. If you want to be God’s voice you will have to study hard, exercise self-discipline, be a godly witness, and be objective and teachable in the word of God. You will have to watch becoming a reactionary to every problem and then you will have to let the peace of God abide in your hearts when all you have done has fallen on deaf ears.
If you are faithful you are a winner whether people want to hear you or not. I Cor.3:18-19; II Cor.2:14-16.
